Hey Jourdan,

It's me, Skeeter. It's been a long time since we haven't talked and I really missed you!

I've decided to write to you to express how shocked I am about how things are here in Mississippi, white people are so disrespectful, I literally hate living here and being part of their community.

Black people are afraid to speak, are afraid to laugh, walk, everything! Their life here is so depressive, white people treat them as trash! White women use black women as housewives, where they took care of their children, clean their houses, cooked for them and still, they don't get the minimum wage and are treated as objects. Moreover, white people made the black ones to use a separate toilet, as they had a contagious disease or something!

To complete my dissapointment with this society, I heard one of the house helps talking about how her boss totally ignored her when she asked for a loan to take her kid to university. Her boss response to that was that she has to earn that loan, that asking for this is impolite. Do you believe this!? I can't tolerate living here near this monsters!

We need to take white people out of the power they like to feel they have. To start with, black women need to stop working for them, they are part of the society too and need to be treated as that. Moreover, white women need to start caring about their children and how they spent their childhood around a house help and start knowing her more than their own mother. This situation is getting out of hands and it's time to put an end on this!

Formal letter

Dear Sirs,
The purpose of this letter is to express my deep disappointment towards your company as regards the service I received, like the others passengers, on my last flight via Amsterdam, which was cancelled.

Due to the incident in which my flight was cancelled, I had a terrible day where I had to sleep on the airport with no answer given towards what was happening there. What's more I had to cancel all my plans and excursions that I had already paid for. To finish with, I had to wait on a long line to get my luggage because there's was a problem with our luggage too.

Concerning this incident, I am deeply disappointed with the airline as regards the way they treated us. At the moment of the incident, they do not only gave us no answer but closed its counter adopting a very impolite position.

Lastly, now that I had expressed all my concerns, I would like if the airplane could give me and all the passengers who suffered this incident, some kind of refund or a free ticket. Moreover, I think your airplane should apologise with all the passengers for such an unrespectful way to treat us. I hope to receive a response from you.

Mes vacances

J’ai été en France parce que j’ai gagné un voyage grâce à ce magazine francophone. J’ai été à Paris pendant deux semaines. Toute la première semaine jevisite les lieux touristiques comme la Tour Eiffel, la Cathédrale de Notre Dame et l’Arc de Triomphe. Ils sont très intéressants, il y a beaucoup de choses à apprendre. Ensuite, la semaine dernière j’ai visité les musées comme Le Musée du Louvre, le Musée d’Orsay et le Musée Picasso. Ils sont magnifiques, les images sont très impressionnantes.
J’ai adoré visiter la France et je suis impatient de revenir bientôt.
