Introduction
The principal aims of this proposal are to help students with spoken presentations. The final section of this proposal will provide some recommendations for the problems, students may encounter.
Fluency
Many students during oral presentations usually lose their way while talking because they do not understand the context of what they are saying. Moreover, they usually face anxiety while speaking to their teacher or sometimes to their class-mates. Also, they may not be able to continue speaking due to the fact that they do not take the time to understand what they are studying in case they forgot something.
Selection of material
Most of the students at the time of giving a presentation find it easier to just copy whatever they found on the internet without knowing if it is correct or not. However, if they do have a good presentation including some good sources and information, this all could be worthless if they do not have internet connection and they cannot show their work.
Recommendations
Clearly, students should prepare their presentations with more effort. For this, I would make the following recommendations.
- Students need to have more self-confidence at the time of presenting.
- For remembering a topic, they could find key words.
- They need to download their presentation and bring their computers in case there is a problem with the internet.
- For finding the correct information, they should find academic sources and put the link at the end of the presentation.
